Bring the beauty of colored gemstones into your life... I invite you to continue your journey with me as we discover the inner color of the crystal and how it can affect your healing journey.
Qualities like; the chemical make up, the structure, shape, hardness and luster focus the energies of crystals in certain ways, but color is one of the keys as to how a crystal heals, hence the flexibility of colored gemstones.
We tend to appreciate color only as an adornment and oftentimes forget that it represents a real force - the level of energy in light, color being light, stimulates the brain thereby altering the way you think and feel which in turn affects your physical well-being.
Color plays a major part in your daily life, your moods and your attitudes and affects your life more powerfully than you realize. It is said that color is the touch of the Spirit of Source.
Look at the beautiful Black Opal in the picture above, magnificent eye candy ... Yes? ... How does it make you feel?
Your reaction to color is instinctive and cannot be controlled. By learning the effect of each color you will begin to understand why you are drawn to some colored gemstones more than others, which will help you to choose the right colored gemstone for every situation.
Many colored gemstones appear in more than one color. This is because some samples may contain a few extra atoms of an uncharacteristic element that slightly distorts the internal lattice and changes the color you perceive.
However, gem experts can discover the true color of a colored gemstone by something called a streak test. This involves scraping the crystal across an unglazed ceramic tile to leave a fine dust of particles, thus revealing the crystal's underlying color.
The streaks of Smoky Quartz, Violet Amethyst, Yellow Citrine, Rose Quartz and Green Aventurine for example, are all grey-white - exactly the same as for clear quartz.

The color healing system is relatively easy to learn, and once it is learned you can use it to quickly identify which colored gemstone or mineral to use for specific healing.
Healing with color plays an important role in getting and staying healthy... learn how to incorporate color into your life.
According to Ancient Eastern culture certain colors are associated with the various chakra centers in the body.
A chakra is an energy centre of which there are 7 major centers starting with the root located at the base of the spine and ending at the crown of the head.
Each chakra has an associated color (or colors) and each of these colors can be easily associated with the colors of the crystals or minerals which affect that area of the body.
Below is a condensed version of some of the information from my Course on and about the chakra's, from which you can learn all about these energy centres in your body, how they affect you when they are blocked, how to unblock them and get the most from every day. A quick look at the curriculum will give a good idea of just what you stand to gain by making this investment in yourself.
