A New Way to Light Up Your Life

Bring the beauty of coloured gemstones into your life as they are one of the most versatile healing tools you can use.

We invite you to continue your journey with us as we discover the inner colour of the crystal and how it can affect your healing journey.

Qualities like; the chemical make up, the structure, shape, hardness and lustre focus the energies of crystals in certain ways, but colour is one of the keys as to how a crystal heals, hence the flexibility of coloured gemstones.

We appreciate colour as an adornment, oftentimes forgetting that it represents a real force - the level of energy in light, colour being light, stimulates the brain thereby altering the way you think and feel, including your physical well-being.

Colored Gemstone - Balck Opal

Look at the beautiful Black Opal in the picture above, magnificent eye candy . . . Yes? . . . How does it make you feel?

Your reaction to colour is instinctive and cannot be controlled. By learning the effects of each colour you will begin to understand why you are drawn to some coloured gemstones more than others, which will help you to choose the right crystal for every situation.

  • Colour plays a major part in your daily life, your moods and your attitudes.
  • Colour affects your life more powerfully than you realize.
  • Colour and light are the essence of all things.

It is said that colour is the touch of the Spirit of Source.

Many gemstones appear in more than one colour. This is because some samples may contain a few extra atoms of an uncharacteristic element that slightly distorts the internal lattice and changes the colour you perceive.

Gem experts discover the true colour of a coloured gemstone by something called a streak test. This involves scraping the crystal across an unglazed ceramic tile to leave a fine dust of particles, thus revealing the crystal's underlying colour.

The streaks of Smoky Quartz, Violet Amethyst, Yellow Citrine, Rose Quartz and Green Aventurine for example, are all grey-white - exactly the same as for clear quartz.
