Your Crown Chakra or Sahasrara is said to be the chakra of consciousness and pure awareness, the master chakra that controls all the others.

It is about your integration as a whole, all aspects of your life and your sense of living in the now.

It's about your spiritual nature...

and integrating the whole of who you are.

The word "Sahasrara", the Sanskrit name for the seventh chakra, translates to "thousand-petaled" or "thousand-fold."

It is composed of two Sanskrit words:

sahasra, meaning "thousand,"
ara, meaning "petal" or "fold."

In Sahasrara, the Ida and Pingala channels meet and connect with the Sushumna channel.

When both Nadi channels are fully open and all other chakras are balanced, the energy flowing from the root chakra all the way to the crown connects us to our highest self.

The Balancing Game

Here the energy here flows downward and upward simultaneously. It receives from above and integrates that into your entire system below. When it's open, you experience moments where the separation between self and other just drops away.
