The Etheric Layer or First Layer of the Aura

The Etheric Layer or first layer of your Aura is associated with the physical aspects and awareness of your material body and is related to the First (Root) Chakra.

As it is nearest to the human body it is the densest but is on the next higher vibrational level to the physical body which has the lowest vibrational level.

It bridges the connection between your material or physical body to your higher bodies or subltle energy bodies.

The etheric layer is invisible to most people although this is the one you see when you first start to practice viewing auras.

You will first observe it as a faint greyish-white color outlining the physical body.

With practise you will see that it varies in color from a bluish grey haze or more properly sparks of blue or grey light moving around energy lines. Grey representing a more active person and blue being associated with a more passive person.

The Etheric Layer of the Aura

This first layer is an energy matrix and the form is shaped and anchored to the physical matter of your material body extending only about 10 millimeters (one-quarter inch) to 50 millimeters (two inches) beyond your physical body.

The condition of this layer closely reflects the actual condition of your physical body so by knowing and understanding how this and all the other layers of your aura interrelates you will know exactly how to improve every aspect of your life.
