Aura Colours

Your RAINBOW BODY...

Different Colours mean Different things

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the Aura it is very important to remember that different colours can mean different things to different people and situations.

When looking at someone's aura notice what they are doing at the moment, if they are ill, injured, upset or stark raving mad (angry). It is also important to note where the colour appears in the aura.

Aura ColorsOne of the most crucial factors that people most often overlook is that the colours within the different layers and areas of the aura can mean completely different things.

An example to illustrate this is the colour red. If you for instance saw red in the hip area of a person, not knowing the importance of layers or areas, you might interpret this as meaning the person is angry. However, this might mean that the person has pain, inflammation or an injury in this area.

Always use all your senses of observation and ask questions before you render your opinion.

Following a basic overview of the colours and their interpretations according to my experience:

Red

Red being nature's warning colour can indicate high levels of emotion, such as aggression, anger, impulsiveness or hate. However, red can also mean "heat" and therefore indicate swelling, pain or injury on the physical body.

I have found that on occasion red can represent a very strong willpower or energy being directed to achieve a goal. This I have normally seen as red ball shapes in the upper part of the aura.

  • A bright candy-coloured red can indicate a passionate and energetic nature often associated with people who are courageous, entrepreneurial, or achievers.
  • A deep clear red is often associated with the root chakra and indicates a physical orientation in life, an adventurer, and often a well grounded individual.
  • Deep red flashes, usually against a black background, symbolize anger.
  • A cloud of scarlet shows irritability.
  • A dull and heavy crimson donates selfish love.
  • Brilliant scarlet against a light background denotes “noble indignation”.
  • Pure, clear red is physical love or passion.

Pink

Light, bright Rose shows unselfish love, when linked with violet it becomes linked with unselfish love for humanity.

It can also indicate clairaudience.

A dark and murky pink reflects an immature and / or dishonest nature.

Orange

Orange is an outgoing, warm and spontaneous colour.

It normally represents courage, joy and a very sociable personality as in liking to be around people. However, if a muddy shade of orange, near to a brown colour is observed on the body it can mean a severe condition.

Muddy shades elsewhere in the aura can indicate emotional imbalances such as excessive pride, vanity or worry.

Around the head it can represent laziness in a person. When you observe pastel shades of orange in the aura it can indicate that the person has aspirations or is searching for new spiritual paths.

  • Orange typically symbolizes a passionate, creative, or adventurous personality.
  • Orange may also indicate sexual passion or ambition.
  • An orange-red means confidence and creative power. In a good, bright and pure state, the red energy can show a healthy ego.
  • An orange-yellow symbolizes creativity, intelligence, perfectionism and scientifically orientated.
  • A dull, muddy orange shows pride and ambition.

Yellow

Yellow is a mental colour in the aura.

This colour will most often be seen around the head, probably more often than any other colour.

Not only does it signify thinking, concentration learning or studying but can also indicate spiritual development, the very pale yellow to white shades.

When you see the muddier shades of yellow in the aura the person might express fussy or over analytical behaviour or the need for attention. They might also feel that they need recognition.

  • Yellow often indicates a person with intelligence who has a warm and playful, generally cheerful personality.
  • Sometimes yellow also indicates intellectual energy.
  • A light or pale yellow shows emerging psychic and spiritual awareness, optimism and hopefulness and positive excitement about new ideas.
  • A bright lemon-yellow relates to struggling to maintain power and control in a personal or business relationship; fear of losing control, prestige, respect, and / or power.
  • A dull yellow is linked with selfishness.
  • Primrose yellow is linked with an intellect that is devoted to spiritual pursuits.

Gold

This shows an intellect that is pursuing philosophy or the wisdom of sacred geometry.

Spiritual energy and power activated and awakened; an inspired person.

Gold is the colour of enlightenment and divine protection. When seen within the aura, it says that the person is divinely guided.

Gold also indicates a strong connection to the “I AM” presence of the Divine.

Dark brownish yellow or gold indicates a person who is straining at studying, is overly analytical to the point of feeling fatigued or stressed or trying to make up for "lost time" by learning everything all at once.

Green

Green is a very comfortable, healthy colour of nature and nature's growth colour.

It is the colour of renewal, the colour of healing.

Many healers such as doctors or psychologists have green in their aura and people with green in their aura mostly have a calm and balancing effect on others. You will find that they are more often than not well balanced, strong, straightforward and protective individuals. Here the heart is the focus.

If you observe bright shades of green blending into an electric blue in a persons aura they more than likely have healing abilities and generally work with healing energy.

You might also observe green in the aura if a person is healing from something be it emotional, physical, mental or spiritual. The muddier green shades can signify jealousy, possessiveness and untrustworthiness.

  • Bright emerald green is the colour of the heart and indicates healing, or new growth.
  • People with a great deal of green in their auras are often healers and / or counsellors. They are social, and love to share.
  • A dark clear green indicates someone who is responsible and ambitious who is likely to work for material wealth and luxury in their life.
  • When green is seen in the aura this usually represents growth and balance, and most of all, something that leads to change.
  • Yellow-Green shows creativity based in the heart, communicative.
  • A dull, muddy green points out envy and jealousy, resentment, feeling like a victim of the world; blaming self or others; insecurity and low self-esteem; lack of understanding personal responsibility; sensitive to perceived criticism.

Blue

Blue is a calming and peaceful colour.

Blue is the colour of expression so when it appears in the aura you may be dealing with a teacher, someone who does public speaking, or perhaps someone who is simply self-expressed.

People with a great deal of blue are often very sensitive to and supportive of others.

  • Seen in the aura, the lighter shades,  it generally reflects a good imagination, creativity, good intuition and clairaudience.
  • Soft blue indicates peacefulness, clarity and communication.
  • Royal blue can imply an honest, truthful person that is also trustworthy.
  • The deeper shades of blue can signify loneliness.
  • The muddier shades of blue in the aura can indicate that the person has blocked perceptions, they worry, are over sensitive and are full of fear.
  • A dull, muddy blue indicates a fear of the future; fear of self-expression; fear of facing or speaking the truth, blocked perceptions, worrying and over sensitivity.

Indigo

Relates to the third eye and shows an intuitive and sensitive person.

Violet

Indigo, violet and purple are spiritual colours and are associated with the third eye chakra.

These colours are generally found around the head. Violet indicates a person who has a deep connection with spirit or is pursing a path of active spiritual growth.

It is the most sensitive and wisest of colours also the intuitive colour in the aura, and reveals psychic power and attunement with self.

The muddier shades can reflect erotic imaginations, an overbearing person or someone with a need for sympathy.

Grey

  • A very bright, livid grey is linked with fear.
  • A heavy, dull, muddy grey shows depression.

Silver

Those with silver in their aura are often good communicators or are dealing with issues of communication.

This is the colour of abundance, both spiritual and physical. Lots of bright silver can reflect to plenty of money, and / or awakening of the cosmic mind.

A very fascinating and interesting phenomenon to note is that most all pregnant women have sparkles of white silver in their aura however this does not mean that when you observe silver sparkles in a female's aura that she is pregnant.

Black

Black is not always bad and does not always mean death of terminal illness, although it is a warning sign in most cases.

Be careful how you handle seeing black in a persons aura.

Black spots can appear in cases as simple as a previous operation or a cold on the chest. Instead of rendering an opinion rather just suggest that the person see a doctor.

  • If black is muddied, clouded, or stagnant this may indicate an area of weakness, illness, or depression.
  • Black may also simply indicate an area of mystery in that person's life.
  • Black, seen as thick clouds, may also show hatred and malice.

White

White sparkles or flashes of white light means angels are nearby; it is also an indication that spirit and healing energy are present.

When white stands out in the aura it signifies pure pranic energy, chi, life force, truth and purity of spirit. It also indicates that the spirit of the individual is purifying and cleansing and of greatest spiritual awakening as in yogis and gurus.

Earth Colours

Soil, wood, mineral, plant. These colours display a love of the Earth, of being grounded and is seen in those who live and work outdoors .... construction, farming, etc. These colours are important and are a good sign.

Rainbow Colours

Rainbow-coloured stripes, sticking out like sunbeams from the hand, head or body: indicates a Reiki healer, or a star person (someone who is in the first incarnation on Earth).

Dirty Brown Overlay

Holding on to energies. Insecurity.

Dirty Grey Overlay

Blocking energies. Guardedness
